Another week has gone by & no new cria. Cookie is now 3 weeks overdue...........which makes us wonder about the ultrasound. Sadie is the unknown as we didn't take her for an ultrasound. Fawndew probably isn't due for another 2-3 weeks.
But in the meantime Dennis' rabbit is due on Tuesday..........we'll see how this one goes & hopefully will have baby angora bunnies.
It has been raining most every evening or night time. Makes it nice except for the hay that Dennis has down, luckily not a whole lot is down now.

- I grew up here in the San Luis Valley and returned with my husband and son in August 2004. My husband died very unexpectedly 11/18/08 while working with some farm machinery. I own 40 acres and raise hay. I have owned alpacas and angora rabbits although I do not have any presently. My son is still with me & helps on the farm. We are very active in our local church.

I remember rain and hail ruining good wheat harvests in Kansas and Oklahoma. Hardly a drop all spring when the wheat needs it then it storms like nobody's business late May/early June, pushing those golden straws to the ground. Tell Dennis that a better, dryer day is coming.
I will let him know.
Right now he is most interested in the next Work & Witness trip --- to the Bahamas in January......... so that might also help his mental state at this point in time
