As many of you know, my brother, Jim is the girls track coach at Rice University in Houston. He has been coaching a young lady who graduated (I believe) a year ago from Rice. She made it into the Olympics doing the long jump. If anyone would like to follow her blog, here is a link.

Jim will be going probably sometime this week or early next week. (He & Vicki have just returned from their honeymoon in Switzerland).

When are you going to start butchering your excess animals?
We ate alpaca steaks while we were in Peru. They were delicious. We returned home monday at 2:30 PM from a 2 week W&W trip to Iquitos and leave Wed for Family Camp at Bonota Park. Will fill try to cal and fill you in after FC.

Some people get real upset by the thought of butchering alpacas here. But my cousin ate alpaca in Peru also... said it tasted good. Doubtful that it will happen here though.

Glad you are home safe & sound. Looking forward to hearing from you. Have a great time at camp!!
