- I grew up here in the San Luis Valley and returned with my husband and son in August 2004. My husband died very unexpectedly 11/18/08 while working with some farm machinery. I own 40 acres and raise hay. I have owned alpacas and angora rabbits although I do not have any presently. My son is still with me & helps on the farm. We are very active in our local church.

Thanks Pastor Bruce. I wanted to drop off the ring this morning after I saw my Dr. in Alamosa, but the jeweler didn't open until 10 & I had things to do at home. Hopefully I can drop it off Wednesday and then see the finished job in about 2 weeks. I've gotten a number of ideas from friends.
